What we collect, and why

Who we are

Ragsdale is the marketing division of Lengliim LLP, at Molnom, Churachandpur, Manipur 795128. We are the people responsible for the information described here. Write to hi@ragsdale.in about anything on this page.

If you just read the site

Nothing is asked of you and no account is needed. Our host keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and to keep the site working. We do not use advertising trackers and we do not sell anything about you to anyone.

If you apply for a job

We ask for your name, email, phone number, a short piece of writing about yourself, and your CV.

• Why. To consider your application. That is the only reason.
• Where it goes. Stored on our server, not in a public folder. Your CV is downloadable only by our managers, never by anyone visiting the site.
• Who sees it. The people hiring for that role. We do not pass applications to anyone outside Ragsdale and Lengliim.
• How long. Twelve months from your application, so we can come back to you if something suitable opens up. After that it is deleted. Ask us sooner and we will delete it sooner.

We also keep a one-way scrambled version of your IP address with the application. It cannot be turned back into your address, and exists only so we can deal with spam.

If you email or message us

We keep the correspondence so we can carry on the conversation and remember what was agreed. Nothing more.

Our campaign photographs

Our field team photographs the posters we place, along with where and when. These are pictures of advertising on buildings, taken from public roads — they are records of our own work, not of people.

We do not publish individual site positions. The coverage map shows how many placements sit in each locality and nothing finer — positions are rounded to about a kilometre, which is deliberate: in many villages we have only one site, and an exact point would be its front door.

We do publish some of the photographs. A few appear on our work and out-of-home pages, showing what we have put up and where in general terms. Only campaigns whose client has agreed to be shown appear at all, the picture we publish is a resized copy with its location data stripped out, and the caption names a village rather than an address. If your property appears in one of them and you would rather it did not, tell us and we will take it down.

Analytics

If we use analytics on this site, it is to understand which pages are useful. We will say so here and ask before setting anything that is not needed for the site to function.

What you can ask us to do

• Correct anything wrong
• Delete it
• Send you a copy

Email hi@ragsdale.in and we will act within thirty days. There is no charge and you do not need to give a reason.

If something goes wrong

If information we hold is exposed in a way that could cause you harm, we will tell you and the relevant authority promptly rather than quietly.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and we will say what changed rather than silently rewriting it.
